New Year

Well, I was all excited and thinking about starting to update my blog more and realized I couldn't even sign in to my old blog since I recently changed my email accounts.... so I'm starting fresh! Please bare with me while my new site's under construction! To view my old posts please visit Here

I should feel motivated to do something but I'm sitting here looking at my girls cuddle on the couch before we get our day started. We have one last day before we start school back so I want to soak it in!

2012 was a great year for us! We started homeschooling, became closer as a family, I started doing more photography and I feel my relationship with Jesus grew deeper!

For 2013 we're making big plans! Exciting plans!! Plans that have to be lead my God or I'll crash! We will soon be starting to re-finish part of our attic so Jada can move upstairs so we can make room for a new child.....hopefully!! We are starting the adoption process! Scary? Yes....a little, but even more exciting! I can't wait to see what God has planned for us! We have a long road ahead but we know God will provide every need as it arises and we are completely trusting Him to lead the way!

As for New Years resolutions... do you have any? I usually don't make any and I'm not planning to this year but I am hopeful for so many things! I'm hopeful I will allow God to have control in every area of my life and that I will be fully obedient to His calling for my life and for my family! I hope I will serve Him better, worship Him more sincerely and dig deeper in His word and to be more of who He created me to be. I hope to be more involved in helping my girls become who God created them to be too! I have many prayers that I hope to lay at the Kings feet and walk away and not try to figure out how I can "fix" them but trust the One who will handle them better than I can imagine!!

New years eve Greg and I wrote our prayers down on cards and we are turning them over to God. We are committing to praying together over these requests and  expecting God to work on our behalf!

So, here's to the new year!

Happy 2013!!

Do you have any big plans for 2013?
